A compact, editable starting point for a small rescue or foster network. The template is free; your chosen hosting plan and connected services may have their own costs.
01 · Start with your organisation
Replace the name, wordmark, footer details, and rescue story. Explain your service area and actual contact arrangements. Do not publish fictional registration details, impact figures, or testimonials.
02 · Edit the animal CMS
Open the Animals collection to add or edit a profile. Update the portrait, name, age and size, personality, home needs, care notes, species, and status. Every profile uses the shared Animal profile page. Add a longer name and check the card before publishing.
03 · Connect real enquiries
The enquiry builder prepares a message in the visitor’s browser. Its Rescue email property is blank by default, so this demo cannot send or open a message. Set your own rescue email to enable a visitor-reviewed email draft, then test the whole path. An email app is required. For a full online application flow, connect your own form service and update the privacy notice. Never use the template author’s support inbox for adoption enquiries.
04 · Replace demonstration content
All four animal profiles and care notes are fictional. The four original portraits were created with OpenAI image generation for this template. They are included for template use; replace them with accurate, permission-cleared photos of your own animals. Typography uses the open-source Bricolage Grotesque and DM Sans font families.
05 · Tune the shared design
The Site shell layout template contains shared navigation and footer. Edit the Ink, Sky, Lilac, Orange, and Paper color styles and shared text styles. The catalogue, profiles, headings, buttons, and content remain native Framer layers. Only the small enquiry builder uses code for local validation, review, copying, and an optional email draft.
06 · Before you launch
Review your own adoption process, fees, volunteer requirements, privacy notice, and contact information. Check every page on phone, tablet, and desktop, open each animal profile, review the empty catalogue state, and test an enquiry with your configured destination. Remove the demo notices only once the whole site is accurate.
